Hi TI team,
Due to China SRRC Regulation, we need to adjust the TX frequency band from 110Khz-205khz to 100KHz-148khz.
The feedback from TI suggests that they had already planned for this and there is a pin that can be conditioned on their chip set to force the Transmitter to the 100KHz – 148-KHz band.
A board change will be required to add a pull down resistor o pin 33 of TI chip bq500511.
We need to know what value this resistor should be changed to in order to meet the SRRC requirements for 100-148 KHz.
Currently, our resistor value is 10K, and the measured operating frequency is 170 KHz.
Hello
The FLIM will limit operating freq to 190kHz vs 205kHz.
Sorry, but do not have option to limit operating freq to 100kHz-148kHz.
Hi Ti,
To make the wireless charger operate within the frequency range of 100-148 kHz to comply with SRRC regulations, Are there other methods to adjust it? Currently, we are using the ICs BQ500511ARHAR and BQ50002ARHBR.
Hello
Sorry but this would required a change to the device to reduce frequency range.
Is there any TI solution that can meet the frequency range of 100-148 kHz for China SRRC requirements?
