UCC28C45: UCC28C45 related issues

Part Number: UCC28C45

Tool/software:

Hi,

The DCDC module uses UCC28C45 with an output voltage of 12V. If the voltage exceeds 12V, the driver will shut down. There is no problem using the old chip and it works normally. The chip recently purchased by the customer has an output voltage exceeding 15V, and the driver cannot be turned off, causing the circuit board to burn out. The schematic diagram is shown below. Please help analyze the cause.

  • Please attach a legible schematic, preferably PDF? As accurately as possible, please describe the problem the customer is experiencing (waveforms, electrical conditions, VIN, VOUT, startup, steady state, transient, etc). Attach waveforms that may help describe the problem? Saying no problem using "the old chip" does not help to describe much? Please mention what is the part number and if the "old chip" is the same part number as the new chip, what are the differences y comparing top side package marking? "driver cannot be turned off", "circuit board burn out" - what does this mean?
