Dear all

Now I am testing the PD of bumblebee referece design in intel plugfest test . i find the PD can't work when Host link Tapex Creek CCG5 and TBT5 board( withe bumblebee referece ) connect Tapex Creek CCG5.

The host can't find the TBT5 device 。 but i using the Tapex Creek TI83 . the TBT5 device is ok . pls help me fix the PD issue . thanks very much !

HI Alex,

It is unclear from your comment what exactly happened and without PD log we can only provide limited support?

What do you mean PD can't work? No contract negotiation? Host cannot enumerate device? Who is the host and who is the device?

Seems like there are two tests being done, can you provide the PD log for both tests?

Thanks for the log! Looks like there is no enter mode for TBT3 or USB4.

I took a deeper look into the log and PJT and made some modifications that should fix the issue!

Bumblebee.pjt

It looked like TBT3 Alt mode was not being enabled properly so now this should work with Tapex Creek!

by the way . Could you please help confirm the latest firmware

PD: F809.11.54.bin
DMC: TPS65982_E001_50_09_DMC.bin
But i find a file TPS65992_F809.11.AE.bin in TPS65987_8_THUNDERBOLT Application Customization 6.3.7_B8J\tps6598x-application-customization

Could you please provide me with the latest PD and DMC firmware version files for testing? Thank you!
