TPS62875-Q1: Non-volatile memory programming and tool?

Part Number: TPS62875-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65224, , TPS6287B20

Tool/software:

Hello,

We are planning to use TPS62875 and TPS65224 in the design which needs to start at specific voltage settings.

The datasheet says that the default settings are taken from non-volatile memory, so I am assuming that it has to be programmed.

Is there a detailed description of the programming algorithm that we can implement? Is there a specific tool/spreadsheet to generate programming information?

If we build such programmer, what is the interface to the PMIC to program non-volatile memory - I2C? Any additional signals or voltages involved in programming?

What is the state of the device when it comes from the factory?

  • Hi,

I don't support the TPS65224, so you would need to submit a new post to have that group respond.

For the TPS62875-Q1, the devices comes pre-programmed to these values in the D/S:

The same device comes in a non-Q1 version, TPS6287B20, which allows setting any startup voltage.

    Does that help?

    Thanks,

    Chris
