Hi,

Other than the CC capacitors are not included in the schematic most looks fine.

Please make sure you have protection device for CC short to VBUS and have the appropriate caps on CC lines.

The CC capacitors place close to connector, please refer to attached file.

Does it's must to add protection device for CC short to VBUS? Does it has any mechanism to protect it on TPS65994?

Hi,

CC capacitors should be placed close to PD controller, not near the connector.

When a short to VBUS event occur it can easily exceeds the Abs Max of CC pin. We recommend adding protection device for CC short to VBUS scenario to protect PD controller from damaging.
