The TPS65987DH is not recommended for new designs, we are recommending the TPS65987DDK instead for DisplayPort applications.
The TPS65987DDJ is for thunderbolt/Intel reference designs only.

For power-only applications (no DisplayPort), I recommend looking into the TPS25751.

Hi Aya, thanks for the reply. We need single port PD controller with Alt mode and Sink only PD. Is TPS65987DDK a good choice for that?

Isn't it for USB4 and thunderbolt 4?

It was previously intended for USB4/TBT4 designs only. We are now recommending this device for non-TBT designs that require DisplayPort support.
