BQ25886: VSYS suddenly dropping to 6.4V

Hi TI team,

currently we are using BQ25886RGER in our design.

The o/p voltage is set to 8.6V, but some times when we are powering on the board using USB_VBUS without battery connected, we are seeing only 6.4V on VSYS.Can you please help us regarding root cause for that

Does the BQ25886 work normally when the battery is connected to the BAT pin to GND directly?
