Hi Team,

We are planning to develop a 28V/50A non-isolated buck converter and are currently considering the LM5171 for this design. However, we are open to exploring other IC options from your portfolio that would maybe offer a simpler and more reliable solution.

The input voltage range for our application is 36V to 80V, and bi-directional capabilities are not necessary.

We would appreciate your recommendations for suitable ICs that align with these specifications.

    Hi Noel,

    Considering 80V max input voltage, it would be challenging to satisfy 90V max for SWx.

    You are suggested to start with LM5170 which can handle 100V max for SWx.
