LM25183: Diode selection issues

Hi team,

There is no problem with the current application of LM25183, but I have questions about the selection of Schottky diodes. Could you please help me answer them?
1: For DF and DFLY, the diode I chose is LRC's S-LMBR1100FT1G: Diode Schottky 100 V 1A
Is the rated current of 1A sufficient for the application? What is the basis for determining the rated current parameters of the diodes in the two positions?
2: For the flyback converter quickstart tool, does the peak current represent the peak current of the primary and secondary coils of the transformer?

Hi Ethan,

1. DFLY must be rated for the peak secondary winding current. DF must be rated for higher than 2A. Please refer to Section 8.2.1.2.4 and Section 8.2.1.2.5 of the datasheet. The ratings are based on the maximum currents in the transformer windings.

2. Yes, it is the winding currents.
