TPS62825A: Negative output

Dear TI Engineer,

We want achieve 3V input and -2V output, the load current is from 1.5A to 2A. The Quiescent current requirement within 10µA. Can we achieve this by reversing the output of TPS62825A?

By the way, do you have any other better suggestion for this application?

thanks for reaching out in E2E.

The quiescence current of 10µA is a challenge for a forced PWM device even in normal buck configuration. You would have to select the PFM/PWM version of the device. Furthermore the maximum output current is reduced in the inverted buck-boost configuration (see formulas in section 4.2 of the application note "Working With Inverting Buck-Boost Converters"). Therefore I would suggest to evaluate the TPS62827 for this application.
