LMR33630: How to handle PG node of LMR33630ADDAR

Part Number: LMR33630

Tool/software:

Hi team,

Q1. Datasheet p11 shows "Limit the current into the power-good flag pin to less than 5 mA D.C." Will this IC be damaged if this is not observed?

Q2. The PG pin (#4) is an open-drain pin, but is it OK to use an empty pin when not in use? Or is it the right thing to drop it on the GND?

If we look at p1 or p4, we can interpret it as OK with an empty pin.
However, if we look at P11, it is written that it should be dropped on the ground.

From datasheet:

p1: In Simplified Schematic, the PG pin (#4) is empty.

p4: "Open drain power good flag output. Connect to suitable voltage supply through a current limiting resistor.

High = power OK, low = power bad. Flag pulls low when EN = Low. Can be open or grounded when not used."

p11: "If this function is not needed, the PG pin should be grounded."
