Hi TI E2E,

I'm designing the RILIM value and I need to consider the power loss of the resistor.

What the KILIM value is? ( now my setting is current limit 6A; RILIM=11.3kohm; KCL=88A*kohm.)

How many current (ILIM) flow into RILIM?

What the size of RILIM should I choose? (0805 or 0603 or 0402)

what's the value of the comparator's Vcl,th?

Hi Viola,

The current flowing out of the ILIM pin is nominal, on the order of 10-70uA, so an 0402 resistor is fine. RILIM does not need to be rated for a high power, and you can consider other factors like size and cost.

Hi Viola,

This device uses RILIM for a current comparison, not a comparison to Vcl,th, so Vcl,th is not relevant here.
