TPL7407LA: TPL7407LA Vs TXH0137D Different driving Vdd

Part Number: TPL7407LA
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TXH0137D,

Tool/software:

Hello

In one of my new designs, I chose TXH0137D for driving some FO's and Relays.

Unfortunately, it is not available anywhere.

I want to see if TPL7407LA can be used?

I chose the former because of its lower tpd 250 nS against 350 nS of the latter

and also because the FO's are driven from +5V while the Relays are driven from +24V.

I can compromise with the 350 nS of the Prop delay but can I use different driving voltages

like +24 V for Relays, 4 Channels while driving FO's from +5V, 3 channels?

Without having to change the Relay coils to +5V can I use the TPL7407LA directly?

Thanks

  • Hello

I checked old Q's on the subject and Patrick had replied to a similar one as:

There should be no issues using the TPL7407LA with different Vsup voltages,

as long as the highest one is tied to COM.

    Thanks,

    Patrick

Thank you TI team for all the support you extend with such alacrity.

    Have a great day ahead.
