Hello,

I am having a hard time using the calculation tool at least for the Start up section. The SOA/Derated keeps coming back red.I dont need to use the external dv/dt control.TPS2493_Dynamixel.xlsx

    Hello Dennis,

    SoA section coming red because of fault timer. Based on MOSFET SOA you have entered; fault timer is too high. Please select a higher SoA MOSFET.

    You can check TPS1663/TPS2663 which has integrated FET which can full fill your system requirement.
