I am looking for Current limit internal threshold value VCL,th and KILIM values of TPS1HTC100-Q1 as mentioned in below image. Can you provide those values, which are not given in datasheet.

In above thread 10to70uA current given through RLIM pin but KLIM value not given. c

Can you provide the formula/relation for current flowing through RLIM pin of TPS1HTC100-Q1.

Is Iout/KLIM is correct relation for current flowing through RLIM? if yes can you provide KLIM value.

Hi Srinivasu,

This device does not have the relationship IOUT/KLIM = IRLIM, it uses a different architecture. The image you originally sent is only meant as a high-level explanation for this device, and is more accurate to how the TPSxHx devices' current limits operate. There is no VCL,th in this device.

The current out of the ILIM pin is very small and an 0402 resistor can be used, and the current limit can be calculated by ILIM = KLIM / RLIM. Why do you specifically need the current out of the ILIM pin?

Hi Patrick,

I require the current out of ILIM for calculating the voltage across the RLIM resistor , which needs to be used my design analysis and i need to stress analysis for RLIM component for that i need proof for ILIM current that's why i am asking current.

The voltage on the RILIM resistor will be 0.5V.
