Questions related to TLC7705QD device
For the switching characteristics I need to confirm if all propagation delay times are tested across temperature during production.
Hi Winsbert,
No, The propagation delays are not tested across temperature during production. This was tested during characterization of the devices from a pool of samples.
Jesse
When we say characterization, is referring to actual test in a bench or is by design?
Hi additional questions from TLC7705QD switching characteristics:
In relation to the 25C reading during production:
- Propagation delay is measured?
- Limits from data sheets are the expected readings?
Readings from below Parameters:
-Low-level minimum pulse duration to switch RESET and RESET
- Parameter is measured during production?
- At what temperatures is measured?
- What reading can be observed?
-Rise Time
- Parameter is measured during production?
- At what temperatures is measured?
- What readings can be observed?
-Fall Time

Hi Winsbert,
All the min and max values we have in our datasheets are measured across temperature. For the values with only Min or Max only, those are values for the worst case and the typical value would be closer to 0.
Jesse
Jesse thanks for answering
however, the parameters perviously asked do not have any limits, that was the reason of the questions. My component is not M grade.
Hi Winsbert,
I am looking for the information now. I will update you Monday.
Jesse
Hi Winsbert,
Referencing the previews revision of the Datasheet, you have the information below.
Jesse
The data sheet provided is rev L, my testing is driven by Rev M which does not indicates any limits.
That being said, does the limit on Rev L are supposed to be also indicated on Rev M? Please clarify.
As an additional note the device i am working with is not Military Grade.
Yes, the values are the same. Based on the datasheet change history from revision L going to revision M, there are no reference on the values being removed. I am lookin more into it. It may have been an error during the transition.
Jesse
Good Morning Jesse
Following up the request to confirm the parameters of the Data sheet for switching characteristics of TLC7705QD non Military
Hi Winsbert,
Please use the values from the rev L datasheet, the missing values are going to be returned on the next revision of the datasheet.
Jesse
Thank you Jesse
One additional Questions, for:
From Electrical Characteristics Table:
Parameter/ Hysteresis Voltage SENSE for TLC7705QD / Test Condition Vdd=2v to 6v / Reading Typ = 70
The data sheet shows typical parameters apply only at 25C, I would like to know if this parameter is measured during regular production or is this typical value a result of characterization?
