I am trying to carry out learning cycle with bq34z100r2.
My battery pack is 4 series cells BK-310CHU from panasonic. Voltage pack is therefore 4.8V and capacity 3.1Ah.
My battery is NiMH, therefore I followed steps for NiMH from this document: /cfs-file/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/196/How-to-Complete-a-Successful-Learning-Cycle-for-the-BQ34z100.pdf.
I was able to get learned status move to 5 but I am not able to push it to 6.
I charged the battery with dedicated charger, during charge ~3350mAh is drawn from the charger. Status moved to 5.
I tried discharging the battery with rates of C/3 and C/5.
I am discharging to ~3.5V. Battery terminate voltage is 1V.
In both cases it gave about 3000mAh of charge.
I relaxed the battery overnight.
Unfortunately status didn't change to 6 in either case after relaxing overnight.
