My customer is considering BQ25306 and has a same question related question.
They would like to connect between STAT pin and MCU GPIO.
I would be grateful if you could advise.

In a related thread it was stated that the STAT pin cannot be connected to the MCU's GPIO.
(1) Could you please let us know why?
(2) Could you you please tell us how to connect it?
Please provide the recommended external circuit.
