Tool/software:
We appear to have several cases where information stored in the device is corrupted.
It was discovered that the raw data for the following fields were all set to the same value during normal operation (dec 4160, hex 1040)
- Cycle count
- Serial number
- Manufacturing date
The value appears to correspond to a cell voltage value. Our suspicion is that when the value was being written at charge termination, other fields in the flash received the same value.
This happened in the field during normal use. This has been observed with 3 devices. Oddly the incorrectly written value is the same for all three.
The device has no capability to write to the data flash.
Is this a known issue? Has it been resolved in later revisions?
