Tool/software:

1. When the solar panel is working, this chip not only charges the battery, but also supplies power to the SYS port, right? When the solar panel is not working, will the SYS port automatically switch to battery powered?

2. Could you help me to check this schematic as below? it is charged by 9V output solar panel and output 8.4V to 2S 18650 battery

    Hi Mathew,

    Regarding 1, yes.

    Regarding 2, I don't see any obvious issues with the schematic.  Please ensure that the capacitors' voltage ratings are high enough to meet min requirements after derating for applied voltage and temperature. CREGN min capacitance is 1uF.
