BQ76952: BqStudio not connecting to Protector BQ76952 when Fuel Gauge BQ34Z100-R2 is on the same I2C bus

Part Number: BQ76952
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ76942, EV2400, BQSTUDIO, BQ34Z100,

Tool/software:

I followed the instructions from the linked post but I still can't connect to the protector. The instructions also call out BQ76942 which is a different protector.

"The sequence of steps is important. One of our engineers tested with the following steps and verified it

1. Physically disconnect I2C connection (at EV2400)

2. Start bqStudio and select BQ76942 manually

3. Turn off autorefresh

4. Connect I2C (at EV2400)

5. At this point the dashboard data will be stale but registers and data flash functions work."
