BQ25756: Coding references

Howdy, I am using the BQ25756 IC as a charge controller for a 3-cell Lithium ion battery pack. Each cell is 4.2V for a total of 12.6V. I have the circuit posted below on this thread if needed. I am using the ESP32 microcontroller to communicate via I2C. I am looking for a software development guide and programming guide, as well as any test code as assistance for communicating with the IC. Is there anybody who might be able to provide me with those?

Yes, we do have a driver you can use: TI_BQ_FREERTOS_V1.3.7z

We also have an FAQ for the BQ25756 and a schematic and layout checklist for the BQ25756.

Also, I'm looking at your schematic and you'll need to balance the capacitors across the battery current sense resistor.

Hi Ethan,

I hope your weekend is going well. I wanted to ask you if you can clarify what you mean by balancing the capacitors across the battery current sense resistor. Do you mean the common mode filtering capacitors, shown in the circuit below?

Below, you can see how the 160µF of capacitance is balanced across the battery current sense resistor on the EVM.
