We are using BQ28Z620 for gauging. the part works alright except the times when battery is empty and full. How one uses this part? we are configuring design capacity, voltage and and max current . The SOH , capacity and voltage readings we get form the device reads zero.
Is there any instructions ore requirements on how to use this part? I have read the BQ28Z620-R2 Technical Reference Manual but it doesnt say much on how to initialise this device. What parameters should i set? Do i have to use bqstdio? also bqstdio gives an error saying that it doesnt support this device and might damage it. Do i have to do a learning cycle to set the registers of the part? What are the essential parts i need to set?
Also, my battery is not in the id list. should i change the battery?
