Tool/software:
Hello,
I need to review my schematic in personal. Is it possible?
The output of TPS61023 is wiered most of the time.
Schematic review required.
thank you

Hi,
Lei will reply tomorrow. Thanks.
Can you check this file, I copied the relevent parts and some information. For your Kind review
Hi Nabeel,
There are three circuits for the TPS61023:
Do all the three circuits have the same issues? That is, "the output is correct for some time, but again becomes same as input (2.8V) after some time of use".
Could you capture the waveforms of the Vin, Vout and SW when the devices can work normally? Are there very high SW spikes?
And also please take a quick experiment: remove the C112, C113 and C108 and try again.
Regards
Lei
Hello Lei,
All circuits have same issue in different cards. The output is same as input and there is no SW waveform.
At that time I checked the Feeback pin, which has voltage of 1V ~3V (different on different cards).
no spikes on SW.
I checked C112, C113, C108 for the values 10pF also, but same issue... Also I removed from one IC , but no efect (output same as input).
In previous schematic I put 10pF as feedforward capacitor value, but the output capacitance is more that 40uF (it is 50uF for VDD3.3V and VDD3V3_AA / 1100uF for VDD5V to be precise). So I set the Fz=1KHz with these capacitors values. The 1nF feedforward value I set was based on some forums recommendation to use high value for large capacitors. Which I will change again to 220pF as recommended by TI.

Hi Nabeel,
We may focus on the TPS61023 for VDD3.3V first.
Please take a measurement on the Vin, Vout, and SW and inductor current waveforms when the device works at the heaviest load in your application.
Note that all these Vin, Vout, and SW voltage waveforms should be measured on the device pin.
And if the procedure from the normal to abnormal behavior can be captured, it will be very helpful! You may try to trigger by the Vout falling.
