I have two Issues which occurring in my 4S1P listed below

1.We have built a 4S1P Battery pack ,In this we powered on the device ,it is not powered on ,The battery pack voltage and pin voltage remains same before power on (16000mV),but when we tried to power on the pack pin voltage goes to 1750mV.but no safety parameters get triggered.

Pack pin voltages goes to 1750mV when we tried to discharge the battery pack. We could not able open the BQ studio Screen.

2.We have put the batteries under Shutdown mode when it reaches 12V,But when we tried to connect the battery with charger we could not charge the battery, When we found that one cell voltage get less than 2.5V,and then we could not charge the battery.

Kindly help us to solve the issue.

could you provide the GPCCHEM report given to you to see what error % you have for the chemID and provide a log file of the event in question.

So w.r.to this battery pack, We doesnt use PCHG FET ,In FET option we have selected (PCHG_CM=1) and Using CHGFET for Precharging.

If we set this bit to 0(PCHG_CMM=0) AND No precharge FET is used, Whether 0V charging is disabled in the battery pack?

IN TRM a condition is given it is Given as ,stack voltage is below the minimum operation voltage of the device which means voltage is lesser then 2.2V-Minimum operating voltage of the IC).

So when it is lesser than 2.2V 0V battery charging feature works?

Hello Max,

Yes you are correct, if you have PCHG_COMM=1 than the 0-V charge circuit automatically when the it is below 2.2V or the operation voltage of the device.
