Wondering to consult with you more about bq76952 LD pin.

 

  •  Ipullup exist condition?  
    1. When AFE is in normal mode w/ no any protection trigger OR
    2. Only in SCP or ODDP case
  • The pulldown 80K ohm is only activated in shutdown mode?

    Hello Beginner,

    1. The load detect function should only start enabling the current source when load detect is enabled and there is a fault. (SCD or overcurrent in discharge). This previous post may help explain it further: Recovery from SCDL by Load Detect.

    2. Correct, the internal pulldown resistance on the LD pin should be ~80kOhms when in SHUTDOWN mode.
