I’m experiencing an issue where the Learned Status is not updating from 0x05 to 0x06 during the discharge process. I’ve tried several times to resolve this, but I haven’t found a solution yet.

I’m using a Li-ion battery with the following configuration:

Battery Type: 2S3P

Capacity: 9000 mAh

Nominal Voltage: 7.2V

I’ve attached my configuration settings and the log data from the learning process for reference.

Could anyone help me identify what might be causing this issue? Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Kfir,

The issue could be the chemID is wrong and could you send your GPCCHEM calculator report that shows your error % difference to verified this. But If your ChemID is indeed below 3% error difference than reference these

Hey, just to update you—we're using the Panasonic NCR18650BD battery and have selected ChemID 2797, as it corresponds to our battery model in BQ Studio. We'll also be testing the GPCCHEM tool. In the meantime, could you let us know if there's anything else we should consider?
