TIDM-02013: how to measure this variable: CLLLC_iPrimSensed_Amps

Part Number: TIDM-02013

Tool/software:

Hello,

we are carrying out the first tests with the board TIDM-02013, Specifically, we are in the early stages of the CLLLC Test Procedure, based on this diagram:

We have deduced that in this diagram when it talks about Vprim it refers to DCLINK, therefore we have connected the 400V DC source to this connector, referred to on the board as (J37,J38)

Everything is working normally but we don't have current values in the code composer variables, when in fact there is current flow.

The value read in this variable is tending towards 0A when the reality is that a few Amps are passing through.

Analyzing the schematic, it can be observed that the current measurement through the Shunt resistors that go from R159 to R172 are before the DCLINK connection, therefore the current would not pass through these shunt resistors and that is the reason why this variable does not show any current value.

Is this reasoning correct? How can we monitor this current during this testing phase? Is there a flaw in our approach to the problem?

Best regards,

Juan Carlos
