Hi,

Please review our schematic that if our design is OK or not, thanks.

  • Hi Zhang,

    For TPS4H160:

    1. Make the VS input capacitors 10 nF and 100 nF not 10 uF
    2. The pull downs on the inputs are not needed as these all have internal pull downs
    3. The protection resistors on the inputs are recommended to be 4.7 kohm not 100 ohm.
    4. I can also recommend a ground protection network with diode and resistor in parallel at GND. The reverse current protection diode in the GND network forward voltage should be less than 0.6 V.
    5. You can also add a diode on the Vs for reverse current protection.

    For TPS1H100:

    1. Make the VS input capacitors 10 nF and 100 nF not 10 uF
    2. Make the VCC24 capacitor to GND 100 nF instead of 10 uF
    3. I don't see the termination for DIAG_EN, be sure to add a protection resistor if connected to MCU
    4. Protection resistors should be 4.7 kohm, not 100 ohm
    5. For U37 and U39 your IN PU resistor is not NC, this will make IN ON all the time.
    6. You can also add a GND network here and diode at VS like #4 and #5 above.

    Thank you,

    Sarah
