dear sir I'm using in a design your TPS61046. With the TLV61046 I charge a 4700uF capacitor to 16-18volt volts. I use as regulation resistor on FB pin of 1.6M and 130K. I want to reduce the inrush current.
The TLV61046 already has a soft start of 7 ms. I would like to extend this time a lot.
I read your SLV307b where you add a capacitance, a resistor and a diode. The values indicated are referred to the TPS61070. With the values R3 = 10k and C6 =150nF you get 9.5mS, while with R3 = 162k and C6 =15nF you get 11.5ms. Can you suggest some values to get to 20-30 ms?
Also, is it better to use a 4.7uH or 2.2uH inductor instead of 10uH?
