In out designed ，we want to get 20V Voltage. We refer to TPS65987D: TPS65987D custom board without external FLASH - Power management forum - Power management - TI E2E support forums

We checked the status returned by each command and found no errors; the patch download has been completed. But TPS65988 didn't work as ecpected.

And as soon as we send "Gaid", it will reset .

The Boot Mdoe Pin Strapping we set : SPI_POCI : 0 ADCIN1DIV:0.32

GUI Project : 65988.pjt

Whether it's because there's a problem with our GUI configuration, or if it's missing an instruction.

We can achieve the desired voltage now .

After loading the patch via I2C, we need to unplug and replug the Type-C cable to trigger voltage renegotiation. However, this requires maintaining power to the TPS65988 through another USB port or alternative means.

Is this physical unplug/replug step mandatory?

Is there another way to renegotiate the voltage without physically unplugging the Type-C cable? I have tried the Gaid and GAID commands, but they reset all configurations. I also attempted HRST and CRST, but the controller rejected them.

If obtaining the patch from SPI flash, how would this work?

I noticed that Byte3 in the return value of PTCc is invalid , and Byte13 in PTCq reports an "Application Configuration Patch Error!" However, I came across another article stating that this Byte13 in PTCq is not actually an error. Thank you for your help！
