We are about to release a new design with the TPS65987DDKRSHR and TUSB546-DCIRNQT and now all TPS65987D DH, DJ, and DK are NRND. When we started the design, we thought DK was excluded from being NRND. Our application is a PDO source and DP alt-mode source. Several E2E posts says there are no alternatives, but it looks like the TPS26744EQ1EVM does what we need similar to the TUSB1046EVM that we evaluated. Both EVM can use a PC as a DP source and send video through USBC to a monitor. I don't think we time for a design change without taking a big hit to our schedule, but in case there is a delay
1.) Is the TUSB5461RGFTQ1 functionally the same as the TUSB546-DCIRNQT with the main differences being automotive grade and package size?
2.) Are the TPS65987D DH, DJ, and DK all pin compatible and drop-in replacement of each other if we are only using DP alt-mode and not TBT3, TBT4, USB4
