UC1845A: Observed high frequency kind pulses in drain to source

Part Number: UC1845A
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UC1842, UC1845, UC1843A

Tool/software:

Hi Sir,

I am working on a UC1845A IC for offline flyback AC-DC where turns ratio is 5 and Np is 30 Ns is 6 turns.

its just like the application circuit mentioned in link : www.ti.com/.../uc1842.pdf

so at no load ok and till 3A its ok but when i increase slightly like to 3.2A i am observing some abnormality in the drain to source pulses.

IF YOU OBSERVE IN THE ATTACHED WAVEFORMS , THE FIXED FREQUENCY IS 60KHZ. SO MOST OF THE PULSES ARE OF 60KHZ. BUT IN THE LEFT WAVEFORM IF YOU OBSERVE THERE ARE 3 LESS TIME PERIOD PULSES LOOKS LIKE THERE TIME PERIOD IS REDUCED TO SOME 13us . WHEREAS ACTUAL TIME PERIOD SHOULD BE 17uS. FOR 60KHZ.

THE Lp is 190uH.

snubber is good. and compensation is also good . i only observe this only when the load go beyond 3A of load current. at 230VAC input.

And CS is good i dont see any Current limiting events .

Appreciate Your help in this Thanks.
