TPS25751: No output at PPHV

Are you able to communicate with the device? What does the MODE (0x3) and VERSION (0xF) register read? Wanted to make sure the device is power up and operational before we look into the other things.

Can read register, for 0x3 & 0xF, they are all 04. is it correct?

Can you read more bytes? First byte of a read response tells the size of the reg you're trying to read. You'd need to read 4 more bytes to get the reg value

On a new connection, what voltages do you see on CC1, CC2 and Vbus pins?

when powered...
no voltage on VBUS, CC1, CC2
after plug in 5V only adaptor(A to C wire).. VBUS 5.09, CC1 4.92/0 (different side), CC2 0/0

after plug in PD adaptor(but use A-C wire) .. VBUS 4.92, CC1 3/0, CC2(0/0)

plug out adaptor, found VBUS reamains at 5V, looks like no discharge path

I found that in EVM schematic, seems no big capacitors put at VBUS side.

can you share your configuration file generated by the GUI?

you should be able to see DRP toggle based on the .bin files you've shared.

do you have scope waveforms of cc1 and cc2?

1. Without provide VIN3V3 & PP5V power. see pic1
2. Provide VIN3V3 & PP5V power. no toggle. pic2

Both 2 condition use same adaptor with PD 20V/3A max.

i meant can you check in disconnected state. both these waveforms look like they're in connected state

Disconnected means no adaptor, right?

If no adaptor, there is no signal on CC1 & CC2

that's not expected. can you help readback registers 0x28 and 0x29? please ensure you read the full reg

can you try with the latest binary F809.11.58? It should be available in the online GUI

Customer had checked the on line GUI. However the version that the on line GUI generated is 

F8.09.11.55, Screen shot as below, any suggestion where to get F809.11.58 ? thanks!

you'll need to open your existing project, export settings and store the config as a json file.

create a new project and import the config from the previously saved json file. it will ensure that the base fw binary gets updated

Use your method, updated to  F8.09.11.58 now

But still don't have output. what else could I check?
