Tool/software:

  1. I need to know if the VCC input can be used for switching the system ON when power is already  ON.? Currently we switch the AC input power on and off but would like to.leave that connected and just use the VCC.

Does anyone see a problem with that.?

    Hello Ronald, 

    It should not be a problem to use VCC to switch the PFC on and off.  

    Just be sure not to toggle the VCC too fast, not because I know that something bad might happen ( I don't ) but because I don't like the idea of rapid-fire on/off cycles for no good reason.  I see no reason to tempt fate and actively invite something bad to happen.
