In this configuration, how should RSET be calculated? Should we still use the value within recommended range 50 Ω to 100 Ω. value as mentioned in the datasheet?

Also, just to confirm—RISCP is not required in this case, correct?

Hi Sushma,

RSET can be kept as 50-100ohms range.

RISCP needs to be connected to power rail.

Since the overcurrent feature is disabled—and as discussed earlier, the short-circuit protection will also be disabled—could you please clarify the purpose of using these resistors?

Also, do the values of RISCP and RSET still matter in this case?

If yes, should RISCP be calculated using Equation 6 from the datasheet, or is it acceptable to use a 0Ω resistor instead??
