EV2400: Windows 11 is unable to detect it

I've been trying to use the EV2400 with my work Windows 11 laptop to read a BQ27742G1. After I select the device I get a warning that the device is not compatible with this application. I click on OK to continue and bqStudio does not indicate that it is in communication with the gauge.

All 3 LEDs on the EV2400 are turned on and green.

I'm using bqStudio Version 1.3.124 and the EV2400 indicates that it is version 0.32.

Hello Charles,

It appears that you didn't properly connected your cell to the EVM or aren't using the right port on the EV2400. Please review the EVM guide to make sure that your setup is correct.

Thank you for the reply and pointing me to that EVM doc even though I'm not using the EVM. The following statement resolved my issue of communicating with the gauge via the EV2400.

"Connect a charger to wake-up the gauge, can use a power supply between PACK+ and PACK– or short CELL+ and PACK+. After wake-up, the charger can be removed."

I applied a 4 Vdc power supply across PACK+ and PACK-. That woke up the gauge.

Hello Charles,

We typically recommend making sure that you have the most up to date version of BQstudio along with firmware for the device. However if your system is still experiencing an issue than we would push for using a different windows system machine.
