TPS25751: Interrupt settings

Hello Chris:

I have generated a new BIN file to enable the interrupt. But based on our test, the interrupt only happened on the first plug, but no more interrupt when re-plugged. The JSON file is attached here, and I believe "Power Status Updated", "Status Updated", and "PD Status Updated" are all checked in the Interrupt Mask for I2C1. Could you help to check and advise?

Hello,

The IRQ is an open-drain output and will remain low until the interrupt is cleared. After the interrupt occurs are you servicing and clearing the interrupt (you should then see the IRQ go high again)? And then another interrupt is generated after another event.

Hello Chris:

We can see the interrupt from low to high, and return to low.

Also we checked the Status register, and confirmed the "Plug" bit can be set properly.

How the interrupt should work? Should we send a command to "clear the interrupt"?

Yes. Clear the interrupt by writing to register 0x18

Thanks for your reply. We tried the 0x18, but the interrupt is not reset as expected. The Interrupt pin remained low.

We also tried use "GAID" and "Gaid" to reset the IC, and the interrupt pin reset to high for a moment, but return to low, and never got pulled up again.
