My customer is looking for termination regulator for LPDDR5.

Could you please let me know the recommended product?

I couldn't find product selection.

---Requirement--- 

DCDC (0.55V/1.05V/1.8V)

-Input: 3.3V to 5V

-Output: Maximum 1A

-Voltage accuracy: Full temperature range ±2% or less

-Ripple: 2% or less

-Operating temperature Range: -40℃ to 150℃ (Tjmax)

-Preferred type with built-in FET

-Forced PWM mode operation

    Currently we do not have a PMIC specifically designed for LPDDR5.

    TPS53830A does not seem to be an option here as the input voltage range is too low.

    Another device which may fit well in this application is TPS54116-Q1. https://www.ti.com/product/TPS54116-Q1 

    -Meetings input requirements

    -Meets temperature requirements

    -Meets accuracy requirements

    -Built in FET

    -Fixed Frequency

    -Need to confirm output voltage is possible but need more information on the current needs to each buck. You mentioned 1 A above but didn't specify which rail that current is for. Break down for each voltage would be helpful.

    Feedback Voltage of TPS54116 is 0.6V.

    Could you please let me know how to configure 0.55V output?

    On the other hand, the customer found TPS623801, feedback voltage is 0.5V, it can configure 0.55V.

    is it possible to use for LPDDR5 termination?

    Feedback voltage looks to be set at 0.6V so looks like its not a good option here.

    I do not support the TPS628301, but I will assign this thread to the engineer responsible. Please wait for their reply here.

    the TPS62830x family (1 to 4A variants, TPS628301 for 1A) is a good option to power the 0.5V rail of LPDDR5. This device family has a native FB voltage of 0.5V, so no FB divider would be required. It is also optimized for load transient performance and output accuracy. In addition it is also a low EMI device. There is an application brief available "Using the TPS62830x to Power LPCAMM2", which I think is similar to the LPDDR5 use case. The only mismatch to your requirements is the recommended operating temperature range. It is -40 to 125 °C for the TPS62830x device family.

    For a temperature range of -40 to 150 °C I could suggest the TPS62811-EP, but it has a FB voltage of 0.6V. It might be possible to achieve lower output voltages by connecting the FB node to an external reference voltage, similar to the 0.3 V DVFSQ Support, described in the previously mentioned application brief. But I don't have reference data for the TPS62811-EP in this use case.
