We want to know the DIODE pin, it is used for the remote temperature sensing.

When we follow the reference design for the transistor MMBT3904, what's the working voltage on the DIODE pin among the whole temperature range?

We need this data for the evaluation. Thanks a lot!

Hi Avishek,

The customer wants to know the working mechanism of the DIODE pin as the remote temperature sensing.

And they also need to do the degrading design for each pin.

That's why they need the operating voltage, and relationship between the voltage and the tested temperature.

Base Emitter Voltage vs. Collector Current Plot of the MMBT3904L transistor.

The temperature is measured by means of a change in the diode voltage in response to a step in current supplied by the DIODE pin. The DIODE pin sources a constant 9.4 µA, but pulses 250 µA once every millisecond to measure the diode temperature.

Maximum operating voltage would be ~1V.
