TPSI31P1-Q1: Prechage status pins?

Part Number: TPSI31P1-Q1

Tool/software:

Is there a way for the low voltage side to know when precharge has completed? I am kinda sorta guessing the two unused pins PC50 and PC100 may be related to that?

  • Hi Igor,

The note of PC50 and PC100 for pins 6-7 are typos and not included in the current datasheet. Please treat them as a "do not connect", as those pins had planned features which are not supported or required for operation.

To help us understand how we can help:

    • Are you currently monitoring precharge status externally during precharge event for your system? What is your target end equipment?
    • Is there a value in having status indicators and how accurate they need these to be (relatively percentage to final value).
    • Would the system rely soley on these indicators to determine precharge completion?

    Best Regards,

    Elizabeth

  • Currently we use a contactor + resistor and rely on the contactor aux switches to provide status in addition to the voltage sense on both sides.
It would be handy to have a secondary feedback of precharge completion (it does not have to be very accurate -say 10% is close enough)
