BQ76972: NTC Temperature Coefficient Calculator

Part Number: BQ76972

Tool/software:

Hello,

I just submitted a zip file to the BQ769x2 Thermistor Coeff Calculator to use the GPC tool.

However, I am aware of this post https://e2e.ti.com/support/power-management-group/power-management/f/power-management-forum/998410/bq76952-temperature-accuracy-without-calibration

I was curious of the the GPC tool gives the best results for coefficients now, or if there is an internal tool I should be aware of. I've attached the CSV file of the NTC data I will be using in this design.

  • Hi Alec,

The Thermistor Coeff Calculator GPC tool, is the previously "internal more accurate way of calculating the thermistor", that was now released to the public. That post is from 4 years ago, where we used to have an excel tool instead of the Coeff calculator SW. This GPC release is the most accurate way to calculate your coefficients.

    Regards,
