Can I use TPS25830A-Q1 to control CC1=Rd or CC2=Rd?

TPS25830A-Q1 Can only identify CC signals and report them?

Hi Rubin,

TPS25830A-Q1 only provides Rp for both CC1 and CC2. There is no Rd resistor in the device. Typically, client mode is supported by using a Type-A to Type-C cable, where the Type-A end is on the laptop.

If you need to expose Rd in your hardware to support a Type-C to Type-C cable, we can add a switch and discrete 5.1k resistors. I can provide additional details if this is required.
