TPS40200: How to use TPS40200 as RC Resonant oscillator

My customer would like to use the TPS40200 as an RC resonator and thus as a transmitter for wireless charging. Customers have discovered this application from other customer products. Do we have corresponding design references? Please help with some information, thank you. The application is medical.

Hi Tony,

I would recommend you reach out to PDS Team/ Medical SEM team on this topic.

There are multiple compliances that need to be done for wireless charging transmitters (WPC/Qi, etc) which will be difficult to implement discreetly using a simple buck controller device. We used to have the BQ50xxx series of transmitters earlier (https://e2e.ti.com/support/power-management-group/power-management/f/power-management-forum/1250104/why-nrnd-for-all-wireless-charging-transmitters) but I guess there is no support for that anymore.
