My customer would like to achieve class H solution based on the reference design of TIDA-020033, and he considers TPS40170-Q1 for the dcdc converter to track the output voltage. Is TPS40170-Q1 possible to use as LM5123-Q1 does in the reference design?

My answer to this question will be very similar to the other question that you had posted: LM5146-Q1: would like to achieve class H solution based on the reference design of TIDA-020033

LM5146-Q1 is a newer device - so if you really need to use a Buck Controller in your design - please go with the LM5146-Q1.

Also, as recommended - reach out to the designers of TIDA-020033.

Thank you for the reply. What I want to know is that the voltage tracking function works as a voltage tracking pin of LM5123-Q1. I think users can utilize the voltage tracking pin of TPS40170-Q1 for class H solution.
