Hi team,

I am using LM64460APPQRYFRQ1 voltage regulator for generating output of 1.5V@6A. Please provide your valuable feedback and suggestions on:

1. Please verify the above schematic attached with the values of the components used.

2. Additionally, kindly confirm if this Voltage regulator supports variable input voltage that mean if I change the input voltage from 24V to 28V, keeping the output voltage same as 1.5V, do I need to change the value of other components in the schematic.

    Hello,

    The device can support changes in the input voltage.

    The buck converter regulates to the output voltage and has good line regulation.

    The inductor size is slightly large for this application. I calculate 0.47uH for 30% current ripple.

    We generally recommend 20%-40% current ripple for peak current mode devices.
