One of my customers is considering using LV5144 for their next products.

At this moment, they have the following questions.
Could you please give me your reply?

Q.
What are main differences between LV5144 and LM5146 except 1kU price?

I found small differences at Vin(max) and operation temperature.
But I couldn't find any large difference point except above.

Hi Kazuya San,

The devices are almost. identical except the parameters you pointed out. There also some differences in Min ton and Min toff values.

You can use the LV5144 instead of the LM5146 if you are okay with the minor spec changes.

Could I ask you the following additional question?

Q1.
The customer wants to evaluate LV5144 using EVM.
But LV5144 doesn't have EVM. I found LM5146 EVM(LM5146-Q1-EVM12V)
Can they evaluate LV5144 with replacing the LM5146 on this EVM with LV5144?

Q2. What does ”LV” of LV5144 stand for?

Could I ask an additional question?

Since the LV5144/LM5146 have power pad and soldered to board, I think it would be difficult to replace the LM5146 with the LV5144.
If I check the characteristics using the LM5146EVM without changing the device, are there any items that will cause a significant difference from the characteristics of the LV5144?
