Hi Team,

I saw there are two input caps C2&C3 in the EVM board and I was wondering:

1. If customer don't add input caps on the schematic, what is the potential risk for it?

2. Do you see other customers don't add inputs caps in their application?

    Hi Frank,

    1. Bulk/decoupling capacitors are highly recommended on the input. These capacitors help filter voltage transients (prevent dips in the power supply) and improve EMI performance. Lack of input capacitance can affect device behavior. 

    2. No, it is not common for customers to leave out the suggested input capacitance.
