BQ25750: Need Help Understanding Circuit Operation with BQ25750RRVR

I am a beginner working with the BQ25750RRVR IC, and I am trying to understand how my circuit works in detail.

From my understanding, the circuit should:

• Select the adapter input if available, and use it to power the load while charging the battery.

• If the adapter is not connected, then the battery should supply the output through the IC.

I am not fully clear on how the power path selection and switching happens internally with this IC.

Could you please explain:

1. How exactly the IC decides between adapter and battery as input supply?

2. What is the role of the external MOSFETs in this switching?

3. How the charging and discharging paths are controlled by the IC?

This will help me better understand the design and debugging process.
