LP8865X-Q1: LED Driver for 5V Vin

Hello,

In our project we are considering to use LP8865X-Q1 led driver with,

Vin = 5V

Vout =19V , Iout=450mA

According to the datasheet, efficiency graphic is started from 8V.

So according to the specs, would it be sufficient to use LP8865X-Q1 led driver?

Or do you recommend any other LED drivers for that purpose?

Hi Egemen,

LP8865X-Q1's current limit cannot support this power, you may need to consider LP8868X-Q1.

This calculation tool can be used as a reference, to be noted. The temperature calculation may be different regarding actual PCB design.
